With the blessings of the almighty and the divine grace of Their Holinesses Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Sankaracharya Swamiji and Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Sankaracharya Swamiji, Sri Veda Dharma Shastra Paripalana Sabha, Kumbakonam(Estd. 1942) conducted a 4-day VEDA SAMMELAN at Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka temple, Veda Dharma Kainkarya Sabha, Suncdarar St, Ram Nagar, Ambattur, Chennai - 53 from 22nd to 25th July 2010(Adi Month 6th to 9th).

From the 22nd to 24th July, the daily schedule commenced at 7.30 am with Sri Veda Vyasa Puja. Rig, Yajur and Sama Veda Parayanam was performed from 8 to 11.30 am and from 3 to 5 pm. Discourses were given by eminent scholars in the evening from 7 pm to 8.30 pm every evening.

On the 25th, Aavahanti Homam was performed for Loka Kshema. Devotees participated in the event and received the blessings of the Almighty and Pujyasri Acharya Swamijis.
